Fits an adult very well (much better than honcho poncho)

Compared to the much more expensive honcho poncho I also own, this wearable blanket is in my mind in every way superior, it has snaps all along the sides and arms to shape it into an actual poncho and the cut is such that it fits my 5'11" frame where it falls mid- ankle and mid wrist perfectly, which I can't say at all for the honcho, that has only one snap on each side and barely reaches the top of my knees and elbows (though the material and design is nicer). Packs nicely in its kangaroo pocket, highly recommended, very light and warm.

LIGHT AN ROOMY

The blue blanket poncho arrived yesterday. A goofy looking piece of outerwear stuffed into a small pouch.. Shook it out and discovered the hood, front zipper and plastic snaps that create side seams.PROS:? It is lightweight, water resistant with hoodie, kangaroo front pocket plus a zippered pocket.? At 5 0 the fit is roomy. It nearly reaches my ankles. The sleeves hang to my wrists.CONS:? The ample sized hood slips forward. A couple stitches in the back of the hoodie will make it fit better.? The sides close with plastic snaps that are sturdy, but is easy access for a gust of the wind.? The built-in carry pouch is too small for me to stuff the poncho back into. SOLUTION: use a BAGAIL compression packing cube. (purchased on amazon) Zip it in then compress it down. Handle for easy carrying. It has not been actually tested sitting in the cold but I have every confidence this is my cold weather solution.

This is great for camping and traveling. Or even just sitting on the deck on chilly nights.

Great for On-the-Go Warmth, But Sizing Might Be Snug

I recently got this ATEPA wearable blanket poncho for camping trips and outdoor adventures. It's perfect for throwing on for extra warmth around the campfire or at a chilly sporting event. The water-resistant shell helps keep out wind and light rain, and the material feels soft and comfortable.I like that it functions as a poncho, blanket, and even a makeshift sleeping bag in a pinch. It packs up fairly light and compact, making it easy to stash in a backpack or travel bag. However, after trying it on myself, I would recommend sizing up (if sizing is offered) for a more comfortable fit, especially if you plan on layering underneath. Overall, it's a versatile piece that offers warmth and comfort on the go, but keep the size in mind as it would definitely bot fit talller and larger people.

Bizarre, but also awesome

I got this on a whim when I saw it was available to review. I do a lot of work helping scouts and scouters prepare for backpacking trips. This looked like interesting insulation for use around camp. So, I requested it, not knowing what to expect. Here's the low-down:- it feels a bit thicker than an old-school poncho liner.- material and filling are synthetic and hydrophobic. It will get "wet" in rain or from sweat, but it shouldn't mat and lose insulation value.- I'm 6'4" and it fits me well enough. The design means it isn't likely as long as a rain poncho.- the hood has elastic around the edge to keep it from flopping in the breeze.- the whole thing stuffs in a built-in pouch.- The sides can be left open, or snapped together.Overall, I keep thinking of more and more use cases for this interesting bit of supplemental insulation.
